Samhain Ritual at Knowlton

A very enjoyable Druid Ritual was had by all at Knowlton today.

Despite the cold wind, the sun did come out to greet us there.

The end of this year and the start of the new one was part of the celebration, but it was more about celebrating the dead and all the people who had passed over, but at this time of the year could pass back to be with us.

Offerings were made to Donn the Dark One, the Antlered God who offers hospitality and peace to those bound for the Ancestors' Country. And to Morrigan, the Great Queen of Battle and Sorcery, the Old Woman of Death and the Cauldron of Rebirth. –
